
Role: Health and Inclusion Advocate
Contract type: Permanent, full time (at least 22.5 hours)
Starting salary: £25,350-£27,300 per annum, pro rata if required, depending on experience and qualifications

We are looking for a strong communicator to join our team as a Health and Inclusion Advocate. Every day will be different as you support vulnerable adults across Essex to live their lives, the way they wish to.
You will be…
- Confident, resourceful and a motivated team player
- Able to work alone, within a team and in partnership with local clients and professionals
- Committed to protecting the rights of some of the most vulnerable people in society
- Proactive, engaging and able to communicate with people with alternative thinking styles
- Computer literate, great at record keeping and have brilliant time management skills
- Be a brilliant communicator
- Experienced in working with vulnerable people
- Understand the barriers facing people who are Neurodivergent
- Know about local services and support that could be helpful
It would be great if you…
- Are looking for a full-time position
- Love working in a fast-paced environment where you get to respond proactively
- Have an Advocacy qualification (or other relevant qualification). This isn’t essential though, as training will be provided
- Have a full driving licence
